Jin Shin Jyutsu

Translated from Japanese, ‘Jin Shin Jyutsu’ means “The Art of the Creator through the Compassionate Person.” The teachings of Jin Shin Jyutsu encompass all aspects of being: Spirit, Mind, and Body.
Jin Shin Jyutsu is a healing art that can be applied to oneself and others. It is based on our innate ability to balance our life energy and achieve optimal health by overcoming stress, fatigue, injuries, and illness.
Jin Shin Jyutsu uses 26 Safety Energy Locks along the body’s energy pathways.
By gently holding these Safety Energy Locks, we unlock stagnation, allowing energy (circulation) to flow evenly again, restoring balance in Spirit, Mind, and Body.
Me & JSJ
A great teacher and dear friend introduced me to Jin Shin Jyutsu in 2012, generously helping me finance what became the first of many courses in this Japanese healing art, held in Guadalajara, Mexico. From the very beginning, I was fascinated by the depth of its philosophy and the simplicity of its application.
Since then, I have traveled numerous times to Mexico, the U.S., and Spain, and in 2015, we even organized the first official Jin Shin Jyutsu course here in Cahuita, Costa Rica. I completed my training with several masters of this art, each offering unique perspectives and enriching my understanding.
To this day, applying the hands remains the foundation of my therapeutic practice. The space and stillness this art opens allow me to work metaphysically, or even apply a magnet during a session, always guided by the subtle language of energy.
That said, I still deeply enjoy offering a pure Jin Shin Jyutsu session—its calm presence, silence, and sense of sacredness invite the client into a profound state of relaxation, where the energy channels gently find their balance.
